How Does This Work?

As your coach I am a partner, someone to support you as you build your dream life.

I have developed a core LAUNCH PAD coaching series that will take you and your freelance business to the next level over a period of 12 coaching sessions. (We can schedule coaching sessions over a four month time frame ... or if you are in a hurry and are prepared to really work at it, we can schedule a three month fast track).

First we talk direction and goals ... then we talk marketing. Most freelancers struggle because they do not know how to set up an unstoppable marketing engine ... one that will serve you and your financial goals for years to come.

Coaching takes place over the telephone during regularly scheduled 50 to 60 minute sessions. The telephone is a powerful coaching tool. There are no visual distractions. This allows us to focus on the content of the conversation. Coaching can take place in the convenience of your home or office ... find a comfortable place in which you are able to think and talk about yourself, your business and your dreams.

I will take you though an action oriented process that will help you launch a brand new freelance business, or take your existing business to the next level by doubling or even tripling your annual income over the next year.

We will talk about business tactics, positioning yourself in a niche market, focusing on a specialty and developing a nonstop set of leads. We will focus heavily on marketing and setting your business up to work effectively, effectively and in balance with the rest of your life.

I will point out perspectives you haven't considered, offer advice, help you plan your next steps, keep you on target, and celebrate your successes with you. You will BE accountable to me, which keeps you on track.

Over the period of 3 to 4 months you will develop a marketing mind set that will enable you to start up a part time, full time or reach for the moon business.

Coaching helps you make better decisions, set the right goals, and balance your commitments. Once you have finished the 12 week session you'll probably wonder how you ever survived without a coach!

At that point, you may want to take a break ... or keep on going.

What is this NOT?

The Launch Pad coaching series will focus on the BUSINESS OF FREELANCING. Competency in your specialty area (ie. writing, photography, design) is our starting point. I will assume that you have the basic skills needed in the marketplace. If you do not have the compentencies needed in the marketplace, we can discuss how you can get there ... what you need to learn, and how to get up to speed as quickly as possible.

If you are just starting out, we will focus on getting started and the on- purpose building of your business. You can flounder along and grow slowly, or you can take advantage of the knowledge and experience of someone who has already done it the hard way! I will help you fast-track your freelancing business.

If you already have a freelance business up and running, we will determine your goals and dreams and focus on getting from where you are now ... to where you want to be. You will become more focused, and more efficient. You will grow your business by working ON it, not IN it. You will learn how to have a life AND how to have a business.

Limited email coaching help between sessions.



I have LIMITED Time Slots that can be booked, as that is the nature of Time....You can start anytime, IF the Time Slots are available....   

UNDERSTAND:

• I will only work with freelancers and on businesses where I believe I can make a significant and positive contribution.
• I will be honest with you the tell you flat out whether or not I can assist you in growing a thriving and successful business.
• If I can't help you I will refer you to someone who can.
• I will interview you for approximately 30 mintues. During that time I will determine if I can assist you in achieving your dreams. You can determine if you wish to work with me and together we can decide if we will continue and start working together.
• I ask for a 12-session commitment. It takes time to work through issues and develop strategies for growing a successful business.
